I've done quite a bit of work with phpHtmlLib 2.x on Windows and it works without any issues. The 3.x thread is quite a bit different. Just yesterday I tried to create a template project using the project generator, here is what learned:
- The phl.php file will not run under Windows nor will it run under Cygwin.
- The generated project will not run under IIS on Windows 7.
What I did was create a new project under Linux and commit it to a Google Code repository. I then checked it out on my Windows development environment and tried to run it. No dice. I am not sure what it doesn't like, I haven't looked close enough but I suspect it has to do with the autoload and lib structure.
I think if you use phpHtmlLib 3.x in the same mode as 2.x was used, ie not using the project generator, it would work but I haven't tried it yet. I had also made some changes to the 2.x thread a while back that allowed the library to be placed somewhere other than at /phphtmllib in the document root so it would work in conjunction with WordPress.

I was able to get the project generator to run under Windows! The problem is in the generated index.php and how the include_path is set. The generator produces a call to init_set() which will only work under Unix.
By changing this call to ini_set() to look like this it works:
ini_set('include_path', ini_get('include_path') . PATH_SEPARATOR . $lib_path);
I am going to look at the project generator script and see how easy it is to change.

Yep, it is a trivial change. Changing the call to ini_set() as shown above in the the template index.php file that the generator uses will allow it to work under Linux and Windows.
Walt - let me know if you want me to make this change and commit it or if you want to do it.
